With the summer festivals coming up, I wanted something to decorate my feet. Anklets are pretty, but since I walk around barefoot a lot, I decided to do up a barefoot sandal. It's my first one, an experiment essentially. The thought that it would come out nice enough that I should make two of them didn't occur to me, of course...and I had only enough beads to do this one.
Next time I'll do things a little differently, and also actually make a matching pair.

Wow, very pretty. Great how experimenting turns out!
Very beautiful! And of course you need to make the other one ... the unadorned foot might get jealous. ;D
Now that is a cool idea. I walk around barefoot all the time too. How comfortable is it though, things between my toes isnt something i really relish. Great idea.
That's really pretty! I've seen some beautiful ones done in silver and pearls for a bride's beach wedding! There's a thought for another matching pair!
you could make some to mix and match! :) Maybe another one with complimenting beads, but not exactly the same. That first one turned out great.
I have seen a few of these, but I like yours a LOT!!
I love that, would be so cool....I'm not supposed to be outside barefoot though.
What a wonderful idea and you have done so well with the beading....
This is really pretty, and yes you do need to make another. LOL! I used to have a set, well actually they could be worn on either your hands or feet. They were chainmail and had tiny little metal bells. Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes.... that was fun walking in the office I worked at at the time! hehehe
Beautiful! I love this!
