I am weak

I did it, I placed an order with artbeads.com. I *really* tried not to not visit their site during the dollar days sale. Several times, I had a shopping cart full of seed beads, but just didn't checkout - window shopping, if you will. But last night I realized I needed some closed gold jumprings to finish something I'm working on. And so I end up at artbeads.com, find my jumprings and add them to my cart. Like many other online stores, when you are viewing one item, they like to show you "other items you may enjoy". And wouldn't you know it, there are those beady lil' suckers staring me in the face. I won't delve into details...but I ended up buying matte opaque seed beads (size 11) in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and some "almost" white color. At least I kept it under $100 this time. Quitting beads is harder than quitting smoking!

Don't feel bad. I ended up with 316 new colors of seed beads. Then I discovered I needed head pins, so I went back and made a second order!

LOL Oh my gosh I am the same way with them!
It is worse than cigarettes, heroin and alcohol in one - at least this is positive though :)

I for one appreciate your weakness... You bring such beauty to the blogosphere with your work... go forth and bead...

That's okay, we all have our addictions (mine is fabric) and we deal with them the best we can! At least you got your beads on sale and kept it under $100.

I managed to resist! But only because I have bunches of other stuff I need to buy. Groceries being one of them, and not enough money for them. Otherwise, I'd be right there with ya!

gosh - I did the same thing - I mean, the cart of sead beads! I just don't know the different between opaque and matte, etc. I don't like the clear!

BTW, did you get a personal letter from Steve, at artbeads? You're a steady customer, it sounds like!

I do the same thing. I got online for something simple like crimp beads and end up spending 150 bucks! We certainly are addicts!

Since it's the beads themselves that inspire me, I need to have a well rounded supply. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
